- Make it work, make it right, make it fast
- Selecting the right task to do is more important than doing the wrong task right.
- Design twice, code once.
- Develop (and verify) in a modular fashion.
- Burn down risk before it burns you.
- Isolation of variables is a must.
- Baseline your work.
- Save milestones as they will save you.
- Find your style. Listen to the experts, don’t duplicate them.
- Say “hello world” or “blink the LED”.
